Polo With A Purpose

For the past few years “Polo With A Purpose” has been raising money for the American Cancer Society. Saturday was a great day for me, because a group of 12 people from Westside went out to set up chairs and tables for this event.

What did we get for doing it? Nada. It was just a great opportunity for us to serve the community because we love Jesus and he tells to love others. I’m so excited to see this being lived out by the people I get to work with at Westside. A life willing to give and serve, an attitude like that of Christ. Too cool.

This is a picture of our team of workers after we spent the day in 100 degree heat.

  1. That was a great day. Even though the temperature rivaled a sauna, it was a bunch of fun. Hopefully Westside can do things like this more often!

P.S. Who’s that good looking guy in the blue Dallas shirt and sunglasses?!
