We have been spending each lunch at the church where they are feeding about 40 children each day from the community. For many of the children this is their only meal. With the very little they have they meet the needs of those around them.
It has been privilege to spend time with these children who are happy to receive even the little they are offered.
Last night we were able to provide a filter for a shelter for boys that are being rescued from the streets of Guayaquil, a city of 3million people. Children as young as 4 year olds surviving on the streets are brought to this shelter where they are being cared for and loved.
A verse that I read last night before going to bed… Psalm 68.6 – God sets the lonely in families.
