Share Buttons on WordPress

Have you been looking for a way to encourage your followers, readers, lurkers, etc to share your content via “tweet this” , “like” , “Email” buttons. I’ll show you how below. After looking around a number of places, I found out how to do it right here in It was a duh moment. I also like the way word press has set it up, because all the extra moving and pop up buttons seem more a distraction away from content in my opinion. Since I had the duh moment, I figured I’d throw this up so you don’t have to.

If those ‘share’ buttons are what you’re looking for then keep reading.

Open the dashboard and scroll down to the bottom where you will find the Setting Menu. Click on ‘Sharing.’

The ‘Sharing Settings’ window will open and you will find a list of available services that you can share your content on. Drag the ones you want to provide to your readers into the ‘Enabled’ area. There is a preview section so you can see exactly what it will look like to your readers.

Go through the different available settings to get the appearance just the way you like. Make sure to select where you want the buttons to be available and the click save and your should be all set.

Good luck and happy sharing! Show some love and pass this on if it helped you out… by sharing below.
